Patrick Kerr
We
are
sad to report that Patrick Kerr, father of
Kevin Kerr the current head coach of the B-U11
team and the previous club head coach, has
passed away on Saturday June 18 at the age of
60 after a long battle with leukemia .Forever
missed by his loving family, wife Cathy, son
Kevin, daughter-in-law Liesel, brother Peter,
sister-in-law Carol, niece Susan, nephew John,
and special family member Margaret Ayley.
Visitation will be at Chapel Ridge Funeral
Home, 8911 Woodbine Ave. (3 lights north of
Hwy. 7), 905-305-8508, on Monday from 5-9 p.m.
A Mass to celebrate his life will be at St.
Timothy's Church, 21 Leith Hill Road (Don
Mills and Sheppard) on Tuesday, June 21 at 11
a.m. Celebrants will be Fathers Cyril
Robitaille and Rocco Volpi who prayed for and
with him. Following cremation, he will be
reunited with his parents at Holy Cross
Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please donate to
the Leukemia Research Fund.
We extend our deepest sympathies to his family
and friends.

U-10 Boys Win YRSL Cup!
Congratulations to the UMSC U-10 Boys team for winning the YRSL cup. The Strikers defeated Woodbridge East 4-0 in the Quarter finals and Vaughan United 4-0 in the Semi Finals.
The Cobra Strikers clinched the cup with a 1-0 win over the Richmond Hill Raiders in the second overtime. This is a back to back win YRSL Cup 2003 and 2004 ....Cobra Strikers clinched division title with no losses and one tie.
Congratulations to the players, coaches Kevin Kerr,Rex Christopher and Donavan Brome, manager Bill Bachra and the parents. Well done boys!

U-10 Boys Win Brossard Tournament!
The U-10 Cobra Strikers won the Challenge Brossard Tournament for the 2nd year in a row in Montreal last weekend.
The Cobra Strikers defeated Chomedey Titans 4-0,Brossard A 5-1 and Gloucester Hornets Gold 6-0 in the preliminary round. The Cobra Strikers then defeated St-Hubert A 4-2 in the Semi final and clinched the cup with a convincing 6-0 win over Hudson St-Lazare Hawks in the final game.
Congratulation to the players,coaches,headed by Kevin Kerr, manager and the Parents. Well done Boys!
